• Barkmet, a.s. is a Czech shipyard located on the river Elbe in northern Bohemia approximately 70 km south of Dresden in Germany. Specifically our location is in Lhotka nad Labem at the city of Lovosice. We specialize in ships manufacturing of various types, sizes and purposes such as chemical tankers, cargo vessels, container vessels, tugboats, ferries, pontoons, houseboats, yachts and floating homes.

• Barkmet company also manufactures, supplies and assembles various types of custom steel structures for marine and building industry, including bridge structures, building structures, mounting platforms and industrial ventilation systems, among many others.

• Recently, the Barkmet company is entering the market of steel components producers for agricultural and construction machinery. We already supply parts for a German manufacturer of agricultural equipment.
