Teesside University is looking for a talented and proactive International Conversion Manager who will play an important role in ensuring the University achieves its growth ambitions and achieves its 2027 International Strategy.
\nIn recent years, Teesside's international profile has gone from strength to strength, with the establishment of global strategic partnerships, significant growth in the number of international students and the continued internationalization of the curriculum. These developments, combined with a significant and sustained program of investment in the university campus, our teaching and learning experience and student accommodation make this a fantastic time to join us.
\nReporting to the Head of International Recruitment, the International Student Recruitment and Conversion Manager will play a key role in leading the University's international conversion efforts, ensuring the most suitable candidates enroll and contributing to a diverse student body. An experienced and pragmatic strategic thinker and problem solver, the incumbent will lead all conversion initiatives for specific territories, performing some in-country recruitment, hands-on and desk activities and account management for internal and external stakeholders and service providers.
\nThe role requires some international travel and the ability to work effectively either in the UK or remotely. As well as being responsible for conversion targets from specific regions, the International Recruitment Manager will also support Teesside University's international inquiry and conversion management service provider. The role will also act as a key point of inquiry management and support for the University's global agent network. Regional offices support our operations and planning assistance as needed. Working on the Department's KPIs, the post holder will also help generate innovative ways of working and practical solutions across the wider TU network, acting as an expert on relevant international issues.<\/p>\n

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as experience working in international markets.
